In Reverse | Hollywood Remakes Bollywood

While we have seen many Hollywood movies inspire remakes in Mumbai, 20th Century Fox is trailblazing the reverse – the remake of a Bollywood movie – Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. The movie, tentatively named Gangsta M.D. will be directed by Mira Nair, and is expected to come out in early 2006. I am interested to see this for a comparison, both for this movie and for two-way remakes (e.g. this vs. Criminal, which is a remake of The Fugitive.)
